KejaPal Movers is a moving company in Kenya, based in Nairobi, that plans, packs and moves homes, offices and special items to every county. We started with one simple idea: moving should feel organised, honest and safe, from the first phone call to the last box unpacked.
Most people in Kenya have a moving story that went wrong. A truck that arrived four hours late. A fridge that fell off a pickup. Then a quote that doubled on the day, or a sofa that would not fit through the door, and the crew that left it on the landing. We built KejaPal Movers so that our clients never have a story like that to tell.

The KejaPal Movers base is in Nairobi, and most of our daily moves happen across the city and its nearby towns. However, we move clients to and from every county. Regular routes include Nairobi to Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Nyeri, Meru, Thika, Machakos and Naivasha. For long trips, our trucks leave early, and the crew stays with the load until it is delivered. Our service areas page lists the towns we cover most often.
Good moving is a skill. Lifting a wardrobe down four flights of stairs without scraping a wall takes training and teamwork. So new crew members work beside experienced movers before they lead a room. They learn safe lifting, wrapping, labelling, loading order and how to secure loads with straps. They also learn manners: greeting clients, asking before entering rooms and keeping phones away while working. For workplace safety standards, we follow guidance from the Ministry of Labour.
Many people hire a truck and a few casual loaders to save money. Sometimes that works. Often, however, the hidden costs appear on the day. For example, breakages, extra trips, waiting time, lost screws and arguments about the price. Your belongings carry memories, not just value. Consequently, KejaPal Movers treats a child's drawings with the same care as a television. Fragile items are wrapped in paper and bubble wrap. Mirrors and glass tops travel in cardboard frames. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart with every screw labelled. On the truck, heavy items go first and fragile boxes go on top. At the new home, every box goes to the right room, because we label them by room before we lift them.

As a result, we often move offices over a weekend or at night, so staff are back at work on Monday. "Keja" is everyday Kenyan slang for a house or home, and "pal" means a friend. Put together, the name says what we want to be: a friend who helps you move home. Our registration is still being finalised, so you may see our name or logo change slightly over the coming months. However, the team, the phone number and the way we work will stay the same. If you ever see a change, rest assured you are still dealing with the same people.
